On April 22, 2019, our company received an inquiry from a Canadian customer. This is a children's brand, The customers want to customize and develop a sleeping instrument for infants. It requires cute appearance, which not only promotes and improves sleep quality, but also increases the interaction between infants and this product.

The person in charge of this project is Joy Zhang , She is account director of our company.

She has 15 years of industry experience and has a deep understanding of household appliances and children's brands.

The first step, JOY organized the design and R&D department to communicate with customers in detail, deeply understand customer needs and provide more professional suggestions. We have reached a cooperation with each other. In addition, a confidentiality agreement and a cooperation agreement were signed. The confidentiality agreement is valid for 3 years.

The second step, the new product development department and the R&D department launched a series of work, including: product positioning, functional positioning, and cost budget. Here we can provide an estimated quotation to customer.

The third step, the new product development department and the research and development department disassemble all the details from the aspects of appearance, structure, material, scheme, technology, color matching, cost, assembly and production. This link can provide accurate quotations to customers.

Step 4 ,When our business department receives the customer development fee and advance payment, the business department will give instructions to the design department for appearance design and structural design. At the same time, the electronic development department will start the software and hardware design.

Step 5 , After completing the above work, we will make a manual template function sample to verify items appearance, structure and function. After the sample is verified, we will send it to overseas customers for check and get customer’s approval. Then, we began to make molds.

Step 6 , mold time around 30-35 days, During this period, our PMC production planning department will arrange trial production materials. When the mold is finished, we will arrange the first mold trial T0, and if there is any need for improvement, we will conduct the second mold trial T1.

Usually after T1, we can ensure the perfect appearance and structure. Then, our PE engineers will participate in the trial production of new products and SOP writing.

When we finish the first trial production, we will send three complete products to our customers for online marketing and promotion. After the customer received complete product, They will arrange the first order of 3000 units.

Next, our PMC production planning department will arrange the material plan and production plan after receiving the order from the business department.

After mass production, the customer will arrange a third-party inspection company to come and inspect the goods. After passing the inspection, the customer will pay 70% of the final payment. The next step is to contact the shipping company to make booking and arrange customs declaration and shipment.

This is a very successful product, and the customer's brand promotion ability is excellent. From the first 3,000 orders in October 2019 to April 2023, the total number of shipments was 90,000 units. This product has been favored by many dealers in the United States, Canada, Australia, Belgium and so on, and has entered the TARGET , COSTCO shopping malls. and global chain store TOYSRUS .
